Dr. David Attia

Dr. David Attia completed his undergraduate training at Griffith University, Queensland and has since then been in full-time private practice. Following graduation.

Dr. Attia completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics through the City of London Dental School.

Whilst he enjoys all facets of dentistry, David’s passion for oral surgery led him to complete a Master’s in Oral Implantology through Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany where he now holds a teaching appointment with Goethe University as a surgical mentor for Australian students completing the program. In addition to this, David has attended countless continuing education programs, honing in on the areas of advanced dental implantology and the latest concepts and techniques in bone and soft tissue augmentation procedures.

Dr. Attia is a Senior Faculty Member and Clinical Supervisor for the Australasian College of Dental Practitioners Post-Graduate Diploma in Oral Implants Program, he is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an active member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID), The International Team for Implantology (ITI) and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

Due to a key interest in oral surgery, wisdom teeth removal, dental implantology and perio-plastic (gum) surgery, Dr Attia now dedicates the majority of his time helping patients

suffering from a deteriorating dentition, or long-term tooth loss, utilizing various treatment modalities in dental implantology and full-arch implant reconstructions.
Whilst his clinical practice is primarily referral based with a strong focus on surgical and rehabilitative treatment modalities, Dr Attia thoroughly enjoys the multi-disciplinary approach to clinical dentistry. His unique combination of education and training allows him to implement cutting-edge treatment, offering patients comprehensive, predictable and long-term treatment solutions.
David firmly believes that knowledge is something that ought to be shared, and he lectures extensively on surgical and restorative implant dentistry, periodontal-plastic surgery and clinical photography both locally and abroad. He is also regularly involved in live surgical training of dentists looking to begin or advance their journey in dental implantology.
When he’s not busy working, David enjoys travelling with his wife, Joy; going to the gym and playing soccer. He is actively involved in his church community and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
